Re: Antonio at right back.
End to end stuff from Hammer Hero Antionio once again.
Fuck me some of you are fickle when trying to score a who point in saying he was at fault for a goal after his heroic effort and goal.

Re: Antonio at right back.
It was a diffulcult one for Randy as Martial was at an angle where he could have scored from a tight angle but a cross was more likely, technically Randy guessed right as Martial did intend to cross it but he sliced it and it went in. I don't blame him for it, not that it matters now anyway.

Temper, temper, Ron. Calm down.

Anyone who knows anything, knows the keeper covers the near post.

Re: Antonio at right back.
He did, but the French bugger was blatantly crossing the ball and had a delightful slice of luck which rinsed poor old Randy.

I just can't be picky and blame anyone for anything last night, was a proper great advertisement for the premier league and West Ham under immense scrutiny and pressure to go out with a bang.

I lost the will to live under Allardyce and stopped giving a shit about football and now I literally can't wait for us to play every week again.

Slaven is god and the players efforts show that they think he is too.

Re: Antonio at right back.
Yes. Martial was off balance, it was an attempt at a cross.

And the goal is 8 metres wide you stupid cunt. Course there's going to be a gap.

Ron, he got badly done at his near post.

Re: Antonio at right back.
Have you watched the game, Ron?

He leaves a 3m gap at his near post.

Re: Antonio at right back.
How was an off balanced Martial, misplacing a cross that went in, Randolph's fault?

Re: Antonio at right back.
Cresswell badly misjudged flight of ball for the first so instead of running back to cover he tried to head a ball he never had a chance of getting... but we all make mistakes.

Second was the fault of several, most obviously Randolph.

Reasons?

Remember, mate.

It will always be okay with some if we end up out scoring them. But that has not always happened. (this is not a new opinion from me)

I can honestly say, because of reasons stated, that I will be happy when we get an actual right back that Bilic trusts, so Antonio can be his free-scoring, awful-dancing self.

I have and I did Canada... I said he was not at fault for either of the two goals...

Not in my eyes anyway...

Re: Antonio at right back.
So chuffed that he managed to get himself on the score sheet last night, and just loved his run at the very end - thought it was going to be one of those 'they think it's all over - it is now moments'!

What an end that would have been - and am sure that would have led to the pitch invasion.

Re: Antonio at right back.
Thought we defended really well last night. Bit unlucky that they scored with 2 of their 3(?) attempts but will be happy enough if the same back 4 start against Stoke.

Or you could have your own and have reasons for it.

No offence, like.

Sold, mate

Never took you for one that blindly takes a journos word of something.

Well I'll take them over yours if that's OK... no offence like??

Private Dancer 11:37 Wed May 11
Re: Antonio at right back.
Admittedly, I'd need to see the goals again, but from memory I don't put the goals down to Antonio. There is tendency imo to automatically blame Antonio because he isn't a right back, so it's assumed that they were his fault, 'he was out of position' etc...I'd wager if both goals had come down the other flank then Cresswell wouldn't be blamed, it would just be 'they done us on the counter' etc...all full backs play higher up now, so the goals that manu scored last night are probably pretty much seen every week these days
